It is natural that women like being beautiful, looking good and feeling great. I believe that feeling good can be triggered, especially if you start taking care of yourself and pampering yourself. The simplest thing to pampered myself is a hair-wash in the salon, or a relaxing facial. I even go to the extend of extending my eye -lashes out of curiosity. Like what has been shown on the video below:

However, mine has been done way faster than what has been shown on the video. I love the look once it has been done, but hated it when I need to wash my face. Since the false lashes are harder than natural eye lashes, they keep on sticking in to my eyes. I can’t rub my eyes either and eventually I had them taken down and am so glad that I can rub my eyes. I would rather apply mascara than having the eye lash extension.

Now they come up with eyelash growth serums! I’ve colleague that has been using it and it seems effective on her. She now has longer lashes, which definitely look great!

Probably I’ll try on that, what say you?

This post will make you drool… Believe me.. just look at these photos..

Shown above are: (clock wise from top left) Grill pork belly with corn and chips, Grill lamb with corn and chips; and Grill pork belly on salad.
I’m the one who ordered Grill pork belly with salad, yummy…. Their salad is really fresh and crunchy..

Here are some close-up of our lunch on Friday with my colleagues:

My order: Grill pork belly on salad

Yvonne's order: Grill lamb with corn and chips

Shirley's order: Grill pork belly with corn and chips

It is one fulfilling lunch for us three. We also have another side order – mushroom soup.

One set back is the pork belly’s skin, it is neither crunchy or easy chewable. No matter what, I still love it. I’ve also tried on the lamb, it is tender and filled with natural juice from the lamb itself.

Would I go back there again? DEFINITELY!!

Chub’s grill is located in Karamunsing Capital near the entrance. Look out for it. If you like pork and grill, you’ll love it. Just like if you love psp games, you’ll know the story behind Angry Bird.

Go to Chub’s grill Facebook and like there page. I just did.

We (office) have always been going out to purchase books for our libraries. Sometimes we went to book fair, visit book stores to get the latest books in the market. There is always this problem of duplicating titles in our database and those that we pick in the store or book fair. We used to copy down the book details by hand, especially the ISBN. It is a time consuming taste and tiring too.

Now that with the advancement of technology, we came up with the idea of using portable barcode reader. The best part is that it has built-in memories whereby it can store data all by itself rather than having to attach it with a computer / notebook.

It is actually one brilliant idea having to just bring along the portable barcode reader whenever necessary. It will also help us to record down our own barcode that has attached on the books, this way we can do stock take for other branches that are not online with us yet.

Before this, we have also introduced the barcode printer where we can print our own label and barcode. It is something like a receipt printer. It has been really useful and really shorten the processing time. We used to paste pre-printed barcode onto our books then print the spine label using self-adhesive paper. Which has really given us much problems.

Now that these things are going on, hopefully we can work more efficiently.

Goodness! He has been arguing with me from home till office. Even now!

What the heck with him!? Is there a place for rehabilitation for computer games!?

*sigh* He is so persistence. So not giving up. So wanted to bring the notebook to my office so that he can play, even just for a while. So getting onto my nerves!

Probably in the future there should also be a place to cure this addiction since they even got bath salt abuse addiction rehab treatment.

I wanted to send him to school early, so that my ears are clear from nagging.

It is Christmas mood here in the office. Our trees are up. Yes, not just one true but two!

One is the non-traditional Christmas tree in white. We had it is silver and blue theme, not bad huh?

The other one is the traditional green tree. I love the white tree. Something different.

Once we have our trees up and the Christmas music on, Christmas is here! Forget about using white noise maker to fall asleep, just listen to some soothing Christmas songs and I’m sure you’ll be in a happy dreamland in no time.

Yup, that’s what the boys are crazy about now. Without fail, they would ask for a game or two on the Net. Even if they can’t get online, they’ll surely play Plant vs Zombie.

What’s so great about those games I wonder, till they cry over it, argue over it and even fight for it!?

There is nothing valuable that they can get in return, but their times and energy. I can’t tell if that help on their critical thinking or even problem solving skills. But some how that keep them quite or occupy at least for an hour. Which in that hour, there are a lot that I can do.

I do know that Plant vs Zombie is actually an only games that has been recommended in Women’s magazine for kids. Well, I hope they eventually develop their own interest on something else rather than online games, collecting challenge coins maybe?

Hmm… Do you all realise that you can have free parking if you shop in Giant for more than RM50 in a single receipt? I mean for those of you who visit 1Borneo and CityMall. Both places have Giant, so don’t forget ya…

I’ve just missed my chance today, ‘cos I forgot about that offer and have paid then only realised. Darn!

At first I didn’t plan to buy anything from Giant, what more I only left around RM20. I was just strolling along with my colleague who wanted to buy stuff there. But I ended up buying over RM50 of stuff from Giant! That’s the great thing about credit cards huh!?

So I got what I needed and some what I wanted and yet miss the chance to save back RM1 for the parking. Next time will surely remember.

We are going to have our annual dinner next week, it means we only got another week to prepare for it if we are going to have any performance. Anyone who perform also stand a chance to win a gift.

Our staffs were thinking to have a performance at first and wanted to do something different from whatever that they’ve tried before. However, things are not going their way. They can’t get the video for the past annual dinners where they can view their own performances. It turns out that multimedia staff haven’t got the right software to transfer or convert the recording into CD. I hope this doesn’t affect their cd duplication service that they’ve all the while been doing.

Anyway, it means now that our staff loose a chance in winning a gift for themselves. Hopefully they’ll get picked for the lucky draw.

Someone in the family actually took out one luggage filled with winter clothing just now. That luggage had been gathering dust underneath the bed. It brought back lots of memories to most of us at home.

Three from our seven siblings has studied in UK before, one has worked in Australia and another one had traveled to other cold countries before. So this luggage of winter clothes has been used over and over again. It has even been into our aunt’s hands when she went for travel.

A luggage that doesn’t been open much but when needed, it comes really handy. Just like those snow chain which probably only needed once a year, but when you needed them, they’ll really be your life saver.

I just wish that my Europe trip which we are planning for 2015 will be a fun-filled one, but hopefully I won’t need those winter clothes, ‘cos we plan to travel light.

I remember when hubby was working in other cities, we used email to communicate with each other, and if the internet speed allowed, we’ll be using Skype to chat. He at the other end will just let it run while he had his late dinner, ha! It is a nightly routine for us then. We’ll inform each other if we can’t make it for the chat. The kids and I look forward to meeting him online. I do feel pity for my kids at times, ‘cos they can’t really be there by the side of their daddy. That was the best that we could have. Other than those constant trip overseas to meet up with him. Comes to think of it, I do miss those trips.

Those days were gone since he has moved back here to work locally and we get to see each other everyday.

Still, there are most times that he’ll be working outstation but for sure he’ll be around during weekend.

I remember there were times that I had to wait till the boys asleep than to get online. I had to make sure that the lighting in the room in sufficient for a good view of me and finger crossed that the line doesn’t just hang on us.

Now that there is Skype Light around, chatting should means clearer view, what more it makes you look even better!

The problem of lighting will be solved in and instant. Video Chat is never the same again.

Now-a-day web cams keep getting more Megapixels, but what they really need is good lighting, so this is when Skype Light comes in handy. First impression do means, you know? So getting a good light does make a different.

Probably the new Macbook Pro will have a built-in LED for better chat result.

At the mean time, happy chatting!
