Just look at the cap size.. how on earth people design such an opening for you to pour the gel out? Won’t it make you finish the whole bottle fast!? Probably that is their tactic. Finish fast and buy new one from them.

I would much prefer to have this pump head instead:

But not all their product is being packed with pump head *sigh*.

I do love the floral design on those bottle. Ya, another thing that I look for is the design on the packaging. I’ll mostly go for something  that caught my eyes, LOL.

I so happen to love simple design too, when I think of practicality. Look at these body wash over at H2O+

They all look appealing to me, and I was told that they are using natural ingredients from the deep ocean which contain lots of minerals and antioxidant! Great huh!?

Maybe next time, other than Body Shop and M&S, I’ll look out for H2O+, what say you?

Before that I had to clean up the space. It is actually a room that we’ve been using to put our clothes, empty travel luggage, ironing board and a dressing table. It is already being used half of it. But still, what a girl need to do is a girl need to do, right? So, I’ve re-arranged those luggages, swipe the floor, mop it and making sure that I’ve got the right wall area to put my table, cabinet and rack.

So, after all those hard work, I was happy about it. Oh, by the way, hubby was out while I did all those mucles-man job. I was so happy that I brought my boys for a treat in Fish & Co at 1Borneo and followed by Tutti Fruity after that! I was even wondering how will my hubby respond after seeing his study room got more space and less table for him to put his junk, LOL.

But guess what?

At first hubby was okay with it. Then later it turn to be dissappointing ‘cos I’ve moved all my stuff into the bad sector of the house. A sector whereby we should avoid to have any extra activity there.

Okay… I was actually couldn’t be bother to move again, but since hubby insisted, so what to do la.. have to relocate again lor..

So I ended up in another room in the house where we actually put a lot of junks inside. Things like files, toys, cabinet that in-law rejected, plus an hairoom antique cabinet that I love. Oh well.. this is how it turns out. minus those area that are filled with other stuff.

The greyish table is actually foldable and first thing I wanted to change is that curtain. yucks! Really need to look for new curtain this weekend. It is not even made for that window.

This is a rack that I got from Country House, love those furniture in that store, very vintage look and I love this rack ‘cos it is sturdy and white color. This is where I keep my MM Slice Machine, my Zutter, punchers, ink, stamps and so many other stuff that I just keep them here.

See that curtain? Ugly huh!? Well, I don’t like it. See that pull of ribbons? Well, they are actually being put on a display rack, ha! Good use of rack huh? That type-writer is an antique, very heavy and still working fine. Thanks to it that I can do some typing if I need neat journaling strip.

That’s about it for my scrap space. Ya it is a SPACE, not the whole ROOM yet. After the curtain, next thing I wanted to do is to paint the room to either light green or pink! Hehehe.. pink is to just scared away those boys in the house. Ha! ‘Cos if I don’t do that, next thing I know they might start putting their stuff in there, like trophies, toys and more documents. If trophies such as those in QuickTrophy.com for soccer trophies, I don’t mind, LOL.

Anyway, that’s about it, I’m grateful for a space to do my craft, and I’ve started using it, so happy!

Insanely feel that I haven’t been with my true self.

Insanely needed my own space to create again.

Really really needed those time to just sit there, dream away.

I needed scrapbook to remind myself on those blessings everyday.

I needed scrapbook to remind me on those things happening around me that is with a cause and effect.

I need my own space!

So, I did. I moved my stuff from a shared space to one that I can be alone, one that I can use back my table that has been my scrap table before.

But one that is filled with other stuff in there, papers, boxes of toys, old cabinet and an antique cupboard that I love which was inherited from my grandpa.

I’m so going to turn this space to one that I love to be.

I’m actually planning to paint it pink! .. oh well.. maybe green will do.

But I’m surely going to make it cosier to be in.

Am glad at least I have spare room to move to.

Fortunately when I move those tables and cabinet I didn’t sprank my hands or legs, as I took my time to move them bits by bits, else I might just need Corflex braces, ha!

I know I should be thinking about Mother’s Day gift now.

Except maybe I’m not the type who will bring flowers to my mom but one who expect hubby to give me flowers. Selfish huh?

I mean I love my mom but she is not one who loves receiving flowers from me. She would rather I bring food to her table, chauffeur her to play poker or maybe even more lavish things like giving her a free vacation elsewhere not so cold and not so hot.

Well, the only thing that I’m not able to give to her right now is the overseas holiday that she deserve. But I’ve been doing the rest. I hope that means I’m a good daughter to her.

Anyway, for those of you who love flowers and would love to give your mom flowers, go ahead and if it so happen that you stay in Oklahoma, try out oklahoma Mother’s day flowers. Make her day, see the big smile that she’ll return to you.

At the mean time, let me enjoy my Labor Day holiday first then only think about what else to give to my mom.

Yup, everyday, every moment.. I guess.. in order to have a more meaningful life, a better environment, we need to be motivated.

The title of this post is due to the incidents that happened lately, read on..

Have been frustrated by the way my son was being treated, taught and thought that it is wrong to be faster in doing his homework when teacher haven’t taught him yet. But in fact, he should be doing division now and the teacher himself already said that their class is slower and they are suppose to do all exercise on division. When I told my son to finish doing his division exercise, what came to his mind is that he might be scolded by teacher for being fast! How could that be!? I mean how could he has the thought such as this!?

Another concern is that his classmate/group leader might question him why he did that earlier. Another thing that he is concern with is, when teacher is finally ask them to do those exercise, he might not have anything to do and the teacher might question him again.

So, guess what!? I’ve written there on his exercise book this remark: “mom said do this after talking to teacher” and signed it! Nah, enough to prove that and cover him? I hope so.

What I’m really concern is that HE is the one who doesn’t want to do the exercise. ‘cos if this is the case, I really don’t know how to motivate him. I myself sometimes don’t know how to motivate myself other than talking to myself, telling myself on all the blessings that I have. But him, a little boy, how are you going to tell him what to think?

He even question me why I gave him the name that he is having now, ‘cos he thinks it is too easy to call and that’s why we always ask him to do things first rather than asking the younger brother, such as having shower. Gosh! He was saying how come we call the younger brother by the Chinese name and instead him with the English name. But the names just stuck there!

Okay, I’ll have to start telling him and remind him how much we love him and that’s why we have chosen a special name for him. Everyone’s names are special.

There are still lot more of times that motivation and assurance needed on my little boy. Not just him really, it include myself. When things are not at the same course with my mind and thoughts, when all things seems so grey, so dull and life is so boring with routine. I needed motivation.

The truth is, I’m still searching for the meaning of life. For that one thing that can really really make me happy. If only one thing that it should be. I guess in my case, it is more than just one, which should make life easier.

It was last Saturday (22nd April), I’m not going to talk much about the mission behind, the background info and such, but only what happened on that day as I’ve seen it.

We’ve been greeted by rain in the morning, with a heavy heart I’ve sms the organiser on what sort of boat we are using to get to Bunga Raya Resort, the reply is “We have covered speedboats as well as ferries.”

I was still worried and didn’t noticed that “ferries” word in my sms. Was even thinking to give up and not going since I will be going alone without hubby, well, he is not a big fan of Ronan Keating. What more my friend will be late and I’m hoping to meet my ex-colleague there. Anyhow, was rush to the Jesselton Point at the last minute and keep on sms-ing my ex-colleague on where about was she.

With a heavy and excited heart, I headed to the jetty and saw a long que of people queing up to board a ferry to Labuan. Turn out that that is the ferry that the organiser mean – fully covered and save ferry! Yay!! It was still drizzling at that time.

Geared with only my hat and an exciting heart, I finally met up with my ex-colleague, phew! Finally got company and don’t feel that awkward now.

Our ticket (RM200) include ferry transfer from Jesselton Point, Beach Kit and Lunch.

Beach kit actually contain T-Shirt, Stainless Steel Water Bottle, Towel, Fan and Car Sticker (all these inside a huge recycle bag!). The Water Bottle was selling at RM40 on that day, so I guess that the ticket is way worth the bill, what more can watch Ronan Keating perform live!!

See that recycle bag that I was holding? That’s where all those goodies go. That tent really is something huh!? I salute the organiser for having such a creative mind and what more saving space to have the stage right in/on the water!

After that was to find ourselves a nice spot with shades and chairs. Of course wah, you want us to get sun burn meh?

So, there, sitted under the umbrella that has been put up by RK’s fans LOL, like some sort of an outdoor Pergola, huh!?

After that was some local artists performance and lunch, nothing exciting. But what was coming up were this!

Yup, at around 1pm, the annoucement of the appearance of RK came into air and everyone straight away gather around the path and waiting for Ronan!!

We waited and waited and he only appear at 2pm! Well, it is worth the wait and luckily due to the rain, it wasn’t that spiking hot that day. Still got a bit of sun burn though.

Everyone had their cameras ready trying to make sure that they’ll surely get a picture of RK. Of course including me, but… err..

Every time he go near to the edge of the stage, all I can hear were scream!!! And automatically all camera’s up!

Same goes to when he took off his sunnies and wipe his sweat, again, all scream!! Camera!

IT WAS FUN!! Definitely! And really worth the wait!

I overhead someone said “kalah bah PM” (Prime Minister also lost) LOL!

Finally, when he took off his shirt (more scream!!) and sunnies (more more scream!!). HANDSOME! GORGEOUS! Phew.. let me take a breath.. ARHHHHHHHH!!!!!

The most that I can get

What happened after that wan’t so important anymore. All I know is, there were Zumba going on lead by Michelle Goh. FYI, Michelle is going to have a free 1 hour (5:30-6:30pm) Zumba session in Perdana Park on 1st May 2012.

Zumba was fun, even so if you know the steps. One thing about me is that, I would much prefer her to be in front of me, backing me instead of facing me, I get the directions all wrong. Left? Right? Urgh!!

Well, it has been a week now, but still in awe over the songs that RK sang. He sang for about an hour, didn’t really keep track of the time but instead was totally enjoying the songs.

Piuwiiittt~ ! I love it! Now I’m thinking to go to Jacky Cheung’s concert, anyone going!? LOL!

I mean the movie Battleship. I went to watch it just now. We’ve been trying to get the tickets last week, but instead we got a “Full house” respond from the ticket counter. Too bad that we didn’t do any online booking. So, we ended up in Wojamama, 1Borneo.

This time, hubby bought the tickets online. Yup, to make sure that we get to see it.

I was pressing my body into the chair all the time and kept my eyes wide open all through, except those parts that my kids trying to understand some part of the movie. Ya, don’t ask me what they’ve asked, I can’t remember, I was trying to concentrate there.

Thumbs up for the movie, I love it! There were parts that were funny and parts that were not logic, but hey, who cares, the good guys always win, right? Ha!

I don’t like how the alien look like, but then I suppose that’s the reason behind, to make us dislike alien. I especially don’t like how their hands look like, yuck! It made me think of worms. Don’t ever ask me to handle a worm composting bin ! It freak me out!

About the movie, well I’ve no memory of seeing Taylor Kitsch act before, so I’ve no idea who he was, same goes to the rest of the crew, except Rihanna and Liam Neeson whom I thought would have taken the lead role. As for Rihanna, she is cute! With her small frame and she was even making sure that her cap was on when she jump into the sea! How weird is that.

There are a few characters that I like in there, first is Hamish Linklater who played Cal the nervous scientist (I suppose) who kept on shacking his feet when he got nervous. Second is Tadanobu Asano who played Nagata, he stays so calm on the part when he was deciding when to fire the alien. And Taylor Kitsch (Alex Hopper), well, he was funny. Oh, and Ordy (played by Jesse Plemons), he was just so annoying, ha!

The movie also made me thought how nervous and worried those aliens were when they got the signal from planet Earth. We were the alien to them and of course they’d do their part to protect their planet and probably trying to look for a new place to stay too. In the movie, they could tell what is harmful and what is not, but it doesn’t understand human nature at all. Of course if anyone was nervous, their heart would pump more, and that has been classified as dangerous to them.

Anyway, I would love to watch it again in DVD if I’ve got the chance.

Homework even in the restaurant

No, I don’t normally bring my kids to a Japanese restaurant and then ask them to finish up their homework there.

But that was what exactly I did last night!

I’ve got my reasons – ‘cos it was too time consuming to get home, cooked, dinner, then pick up hubby from the air-port at 8pm. I was too darn tired to think of what to cook either, what more surely they’ll be dragging their time to do their homework if they are home, with the distraction of TV, online games and so forth.

So, having dinner in a Japanese restaurant seems to be a good idea, what more their egg rolled sushi is the cheapest in town! RM2 per plate of small little sushi which my son love. They also have tuna sushi which they can feed on.

The train in Japanese Dream Food over at Centre Point Sabah is a hit for the boys.

I wonder what will their respond be if I bring them to Party Play in Lintas when there is a life band there. I bet they’ll get all excited and forget about their homework. I bet they’ll want to learn how to play guitar or the keyboard once they’ve seen others perform life. The next thing is they might start talking about Steinberger Guitars, who knows, right?

Well, it is a good idea to bring them to Party Play since there are some finger food that looks like their favorite stuff and the most important thing is they are going to eat and hopefully forget about online games.

But then if I’m going to bring them there to have dinner and do homework after that… well… I doubt it.

The thing is, last night I felt a bit embarrassed to occupy the seats when the restaurant getting to be busy with more customers, so I’ve decided to leave and let others have a seat, even though the boys haven’t finished up their homework yet.

Then we ended up in Palm Cafe just around the corner and they did managed to finish their homework.

As for Party Play, maybe next time. I’m sure they’ll get into enjoying life band when they get older. So, the Steinberger Guitars can wait.

Phew.. that is a lot of work, ‘cos I haven’t talked about getting the clothes washed, feed the dogs, hang the clothes, fold up the clothes, keeping away the folded-up clothes, making formula milk, sleep while driving.. ops!

Or.. trying to record down what I need to do next in my mobile phone, setting reminder on things that I need to check on them, argue with them about what they should be doing, getting them off from the TV or computer or my phone!

Ya right.. tell someone who doesn’t do all these, they would think this is easy job. Go ahead and have two boys who totally have different characters and one are demanding, another one who doesn’t like to study but drawings and Lego.

I would say, you’ll need to have a lot of support, both mentally and physically.

Glad I’m still sane enough to write all these down. AND.. sane enough to call it a day now for bed. GOOD NIGHT!

Yes! Daiso and Kaison!

They are my happy place and I can spend hours in there if time allowed.

You can find just about anything in these two stores, except maybe lab furnaces, but then again, who would want to use lab furnaces at home?

Anyway, let me show you how crazy I got and probably some of you would say how non-sense I get doing this while browsing at their shelves – I’ve taken lots of pictures while browsing! I hope it is not an offense though.

I felt like getting each and every item in the stores back home, like I’m going to need them. Some of them are just too cute to miss and very nice to use as decoration pieces.

I didn’t take more pictures from Daiso as there always seems to have people around you and their shelves space is smaller compare to Kaison. Anyhow, I still love the store.
