It is natural that women like being beautiful, looking good and feeling great. I believe that feeling good can be triggered, especially if you start taking care of yourself and pampering yourself. The simplest thing to pampered myself is a hair-wash in the salon, or a relaxing facial. I even go to the extend of extending my eye -lashes out of curiosity. Like what has been shown on the video below:

However, mine has been done way faster than what has been shown on the video. I love the look once it has been done, but hated it when I need to wash my face. Since the false lashes are harder than natural eye lashes, they keep on sticking in to my eyes. I can’t rub my eyes either and eventually I had them taken down and am so glad that I can rub my eyes. I would rather apply mascara than having the eye lash extension.

Now they come up with eyelash growth serums! I’ve colleague that has been using it and it seems effective on her. She now has longer lashes, which definitely look great!

Probably I’ll try on that, what say you?

I recently heard from my colleague that someone’s kid has an ear infection and the infection has gone up till the brain! I’m not sure how true is that, ‘cos to my understanding, the nose doesn’t connect to our brain. Is it?

I’ve never seen an ear infection before and don’t know how bad can it go.

I’ve seen doctor using a Welch Allyn to check on a friend’s ear, that is because a small moth had gone inside. I’ve even tried to suck it out using my mouth! Without thinking much at that time and it is the fastest solution (which I don’t even know if it will work).

Anyway, an ear infection getting on to the brain!? Could it be?

Just learn from Dr. Lam that meat is the killer for my blood type, and I can’t take potato and dairy stuff, plus oranges, papaya and mangoes!!

But I can have lots of vegetables, except cabbages. I can have deep water fishes like cod and salmon. I can take olive oil instead of sunflower oil. My diet should contain nuts and avoid red meat. This is my food choice table: Food Chart Table for Type A.

I know I can’t eat much of shrimp, crab and red meat, ‘cos I feel uneasy after that and needed a lot of liquid to wash it down. Even mushroom too!

I can have my cup of coffee each day though, what a joy to learn that.

As for my fat burners food, all I need to do is eat right to boost up my immune system and lower the intake of meat, then I’ll loose weight and stay healthy naturally.

The sad thing is, cheese and milk are not allow in my diet! Darn… there goes all my ice-cream and pizzas!

Anyway, am glad that at least now I know the reason for me in feeling sick when I took all those food that are not allowed in my diet.

I don’t know about you, but to me, I think there are a lot times that I’ve been bombarded with the ideas in getting slim. Not just in getting fit, which is healthy to me, but in just getting slim, no matter what the cause. Although some started with a good intention, but it is sometime so hard for them to get in shape or slim down. Some even try to find excuses for themselves to just get that filled with sugar cupcake/donut/*fill in the blank*, till they got themselves in trouble, such as a high level of sugar (diabetic)!

Some goes for weird diet which doesn’t really make sense, like eating only meat! No carbohydrate! How could it make sense when the first human (Adam), in my believe system saying that he is a vegetarian!? It is being mentioned in this article: History of human diet.

I believe in moderation and I do believe that our body can heal itself when we took care of it and not sabotage it in ways that is against it nature like over eating, over starving, over this and that. But of course you don’t try out poison and see if the body can heal itself, that would mean suicidal!

I understand that there are some that face weight problem, self-esteem and probably having difficulty in adjusting to new diet, so they might just go to buy apidexin.

But tell you what, any diet won’t work unless you add in proper exercise. Then only you’ll get slim and fit at the same time, plus healthier!

So, good luck for those of you who are trying to slimmer. For me, let me just have my cup of Milo before bed for now.

I’m talking about Pore cleansing fruit smoothie from Montagne Jeuness.

Montagne Jeuness Pore Cleansing Fruit Smoothie

For those of you in the States, you can get it online from Neoteric Cosmetic. But for those of us who are in Malaysia, this product is available in Guardian. Not sure if other pharmacies are selling it, but I saw Montagne Jeuness products in Guardian. It is made from United Kingdom with all natural plants, essences and extracts. You can read more about this product here and here.

I didn’t finish one pack for one session, so I’m saving it for next weekend. Probably because I didn’t use it on my neck *grin*. So, really, with $2.25 and I get to enjoy it twice, that is really worth the money. But of course the most important thing is that I love its soothing effect, cleansing function and the refreshing fruity smell.

So, why not this weekend, have a smoothie yourself. Enjoy!

Initial plan: Join yoga class.

Middle plan: Maybe can join Pilate since can’t find a yoga class that let me join in during odd hours. By odd hours I mean I can’t go after office hours. Sometimes I can’t even go on Saturday. Since there is one Pilate class that is really near to my office, I can do that even during lunch hour!!

So, I’ve got myself a mate for the Pilate, got excited about going to the class during long lunch hour. Even ask if there is any shower area. Text and text the teacher to get enough information for me to go.

Then it was being put off due to faulty hose / water problem. Further put off due to laziness.

Final plan (which might just revert back to the middle plan): Go for the gym in our office. Ya! Our office has a gym for the staff now, yippie! But err.. which should I go first, the track-mill or the bike.

Umm… do I need to take some protein to build up those muscles? Or am I missing out on any other thing? Gotta search and understand those creatine reviews first.

Or… maybe I should just stick to my normal routine – stretching before bedtime.

.

.

.

Okay, let me just stick to my last final plan – stretching before bedtime. Goodnight!

Ya, it feels like it, I guess.. ‘cos my face was swollen all over and I have a face that I don’t recognize. Fortunately my boys don’t see the difference. So I’m guessing if I would go for botox and if something gone wrong in the middle of it, this is how I would look like! Not a good experience definitely! It was red, itchy and felt a bit warmer than usual.

It happened three days ago. And it starts to flake yesterday, peeling! Gosh! I feel like my face is cracking!

I’m blaming it on the prawn that I ate plus the dumb me who’ve mixed two different moisturizers! Now, my theory is I’m actually allergy to seafood, especially those not so fresh ones. Plus probably the moisturizers that I used have different functions. One is with AHA and the other is to boost up moisture in my skin. Probably there are some chemical reactions that was going on and it shows on my skin, darn!

Anyway, lesson learn. I’m not going to eat prawn from now on.

.

.

Err.. okay, maybe for a few days and I’ll make sure it is fresh.

And.. I’m not going to use different moisturizer at the same time. Even when it says it has superb anti aging products in there! No way! I don’t want my face to crack-up again!

A long overdue post that suppose to update here right after Monday’s review, but had been so caught up with work and taking care of the boys since hubby wasn’t around during the week.

Yes, the review of my recent “miscarriage” which to me is not, and yet I don’t have another proper name for it That is what being written in my medical leave. Probably should call it “the day that I’ve cleared my ovary of an unsuccessful pregnancy”. Anyway, the scheduled review was being done during lunch hour..

Over the past days after the D&C, I was actually recovering very well. Taking my sweet time to just relax and do nothing except maybe some scrapbook pages, laundry and some light stuff in the house.

So, came Monday where I’ve official gone back to work in my new office where things still mostly in boxes and feeling quite lost in the new division. There had been so much changes that I’ve to learn all over again. I’ve actually being posted there on my first year joining the company. Anyway, will talk about work some other time.

Came noon, where I’ve been waiting anxiously preparing some questions in my head that I wanted to ask the doctor. I’ve actually got tons of questions to ask! But somehow those questions doesn’t seems so important anymore when I get to know that unhealthy pregnancy is actually “nature” as the doctor put it, plus my ovary has shrunk to normal size and I’m like normal again. Probably what he meant was I’m like usual, nothing has changed and it doesn’t affect my chances in getting pregnant again.

Another thing is I’ll need to be prepared for my next menses ‘cos it is no longer able to be calculated base on my last period.

One final question that I asked when I was almost getting out from his room was “When can I start having sex?”

Ya, probably sound silly, but it is an important question, isn’t it? Who knows it might affect my whole reproductive organs! Or what if I conceive again and it is another unhealthy pregnancy, right?

Guess what the doctor’s reply was?

“Anytime”… “Even if tonight! If you want.”

Ha! Okay, now that settles it. I mean now it really says that I’ve gone back to my old normal self like this didn’t even happened!

Okay, let me see, where should I continue again.

Oh, the procedure, which they still call it the D&C procedure (Dilation and Curettage).

Anyway, it was a nervous experience for me.

I have to have the D&C ASAP after knowing the result on Monday, so it was being arranged to do so on Tuesday afternoon which was the first available time for the doctor.

Tuesday (5th April), was also the day for my farewell party for having been transferred to another division. One that my colleagues have taken all the care and love to arrange it specially for me considering of my health and appetite during that time. One that they wanted to show their appreciation and one that which (I hope) everyone was looking forward to the food

So I had to attend it, fortunately it wasn’t crush with my D&C procedure. But by the time the food came and after all the enjoyment, it was late, way too late for me to go home and get my brother to send me to Rafflesia Medical Centre, so I decided to drove there myself and worse come to worst, I’ll just get my sis to fetch me home if however I can’t drive afterwards.

Arriving there 20 minutes earlier than appointment time, got myself registered, paid the deposit and registration fees of RM805. Gone for blood pressure test, some interview on what I’ve eaten, if I’m allergy to any medicine and so forth. Then the nurse gave me two tablets which mean to dilate my cervix and then got changed and waited in a room. Basically rest for 2 hours. Ya, a long wait, should have brought a magazine or what, but won’t sure if I can even read in that condition (being nervous and anxious).

I thought I would have felt some period pain like the nurse has told me, or contraction, but nope, nothing.

Around 3:30 pm, I was being transferred to the operating room.

I was telling myself I wan’t going to take a clear look of the room, ‘cos I don’t want to make myself even more nervous and I don’t wanted to remember anything of the procedure. I was told that I might still be able to hear during the procedure even though after the sedation. Which sounds scary to me. I mean who wants to know how was it being done? It is not like you are expecting the birth of a baby, it is a removal of an unhealthy growth in my body!

Yupe, by that time I’ve already accepted that I need to clear it away from my body and not getting myself into any health risk.

After exchanging a few conversation with the doctor while he was injecting the sedation, the next thing was I woke up in the waiting room again. Yupe, it was over. Thank God that I don’t even know when I’ve gone unconscious.

Still feeling a bit drowsy. I told myself, hey, I’ve already paid, let’s just rest as long as I need then only go home, ha! And ya, I did drove home without any problem.

I was given two kinds of antibiotics and asked to go back for a review on Monday. The dissapointing part was I was only being given 3 days of MC!!! I thought it would be like 2 weeks of MC! Eh, after an operation, one should really rest, isn’t it?

Just so that I can rest well, I’ve given myself another day off and started eating drunken chicken. Bought 3 days supply of So Ho Wan and Wu Chin Wan, traditionally prepared for women in confinement which will improve blood circulation after childbirth.

Well, the main thing is I’m fine and just hoping to get even healthier and put this behind.

Thanks for all your concern and comments, I appreciate every blog love that you all sent.

That was late February and it is one that I was expecting since my period was late. Good news, but me and hubby is keeping it low till we can’t keep our joy from our two boys and told them that we are expecting a new family member and it was a new and surprise thing to them. Which ended up with lots of questions like how I know, when I know and if they want a baby girl or boy.

Then I carried on with life without any sign of morning sickness except maybe the increasing waistline. But a week later, I started to feel really tired, no appetite, dizzy and even started to vomit air or water only. So I went for a scan just to make sure that everything is fine and wanted to find out the due date.

The first scan (9th March), can’t really tell anything, the doctor said: “We can see the sac, but it is very small.” It was way smaller than the calculated date according to my last period, by that time it should be about 8 weeks old, but it only looks like 4 weeks. Plus, it has some blood around the sac.

Then a week later (17th March), it did grown a bit but still can’t detect the heart-beat which suppose to be there. That was when the doctor said “Don’t tell anyone yet.” Which made me confuse of the real situation. I mean if it is there, it is there and growing, right? But how come no heart-beat.

Okay, never mind, we’ll give some time for it to grow and I was suppose to go back again for another two weeks, but I’ve been to another doctor to get a 2nd opinion.

3rd scan (1st April) , still no heart-beat, it was last Friday when I decided to go for blood test on the pregnancy hormone. Two sampling of blood needed to be taken, so I had to go back to the clinic on Sunday. Result will be out the next Monday (4th April).

The call came at 3:30pm on Monday, asking me to see the doctor to get my result. I was anxious to know after all those morning sickness, vomiting, low appetite and yet forever hungry feelings. I wanted to know badly if this is a healthy pregnancy for me. I kept telling myself no matter what is the result, I will just take it calmly. But I came out crying… and hid myself in the toilet just to gather back.

I remember the doctor telling me my pregnancy hormone dropped, which suppose to double over two days, so it was a bad news, one that I had to accept and decide where I should do the procedure in aborting the fetus. I shouldn’t even call it fetus maybe, it might be just a lump of blood, an unhealthy growth in my ovary which I need to clear, else I might be facing heavy bleeding of miscarriage.

Part of me felt so sorry on what had just happened, but part of me is kind of relieve too since it is unhealthy and I’m glad that I know it earlier instead in an even later stage.

This is what the doctor has written recommending if I were to do it in the general hospital:

The figures are actually my hormone changed… Ya.. I know doctor’s hand-writing, at least the figures is clear, ha! Yupe, it was decision time where at the same time hubby wasn’t around. He’s just gone off for duty at noon time, what the heck!

Anyway.. I’ll talk about the procedure in another post.

Am glad that I’m able to rest for a few days, as for now.
