We were going around some other neighborhood on Sunday searching for an art class teacher’s home, hoping to see some sign board, unfortunately we didn’t find him. However, we discovered something else and I myself discovered more from that.
First thing was, we saw some nice big houses with beautiful garden, some with nicely tiles front door and big yard, some with nice color painted. The one comments that got my attention was “Wah!! So big oh the house!!” another one would be “Wah, the house got beautiful colors!” Then one last one was “Mommy, your house is not beautiful, it is all white, no color at all!”
Okay, after that was some questions and answers time for my boys. I was just curious how they define beautiful and big. So I found out that they prefer some colors in the house instead of all white which is what we are having now. They also prefer to have some big front or back yard that they can run around without any dog. Another thing was, they wanted to have a space for themselves that they can play their toys, doesn’t matter if that is a small area.
At the moment they play their toys in front of the TV area, which is a no no from me, ‘cos they’ll be too near the TV. I’m hoping to get them a space that if their cousins are over, they can play there and hopefully it is a welcoming space for them, would definitely need them to tidy up every time they leave the space, else I would be the one who ended up with all the tidying work.
