This is a late post, it should be on the 1st December, however I can’t get into writing this then.
December, a month for Christmas, a month for celebration and a month that is the end of the year. This is also a month for me to prepare the house fully so that we can move in before end of the year. So far, I’ve only got myself a set of sofa in the living room and air-con for the master room, and that’s it! Oh, and that special mop that I bought which is highly recommended by my friend’s mom who is of course using it herself. And ya, I do like it since I don’t need to squeeze the water myself and it can even clean those unreachable area. It is going to be my best helper around the house.
I’ve yet to get the laminating wood flooring done and those kitchen cabinet up. The designer still working on this and hopefully she won’t come up with something over my budget.
Though the house is empty except with the sofa set, I still look forward to stay there and I’ve even mopped the floor! Crazy huh!? ‘cos eventually it will get dirty by those workers who will install the flooring and air-con.
Oh ya.. I’m forgetting my curtains. Something that I should be getting these few days. I’m not sure what color scheme to look for, but at least I know I will need lace for the living room’s bay window. Still a lot of work to do before moving in.
And those pots and pans, stove, refrigerator, and maybe microwave oven, dining table and chairs, cabinet and mattresses for the boys. Goodness, so much to spend.
Other than the house things, we haven’t put up our Christmas tree yet, most probably I’ll do it tonight with my boys, I know they would love it! And it will bring up the Christmas mood in us.
