“Mommy.. you said Mervin is coming home, but where is he!?”

An eager voice came through the phone while I was on the way to pick up Mervin from school.

Earlier on I’ve told Calvin that little brother is coming home today ‘cos his babysitter isn’t free today and Mervin wasn’t really looking forward to that. Now, at least I am happy to hear that big brother is looking forward to an afternoon with Mervin and hopefully they are in really good terms now and play with each other.

Another thing that I think they’ll be just fine is when we were on our way home, I asked Mervin if it is okay for ko-ko to take his burger (from birthday party at school), he said that with an absolute answer yes!

When I got home, Calvin was already waiting for our arrival and was trying to make dough out from flour, cooking oil and water! He said he learn it from Einstein (TV program in TVIQ). But I’m sure he missed out something in the ingredient ‘cos it didn’t work out. Fortunately I’ve printed some worksheets for him to do and hopefully can occupy some of his time.

I’m wondering what and how are they doing at the moment. Sometimes I wish my home is just a few minutes walk from my office so that I can just drop by anytime of the day and take a look myself. The truth is, I can’t find a house that matches up with my financial ability and houses now a day are definitely not like those mobile homes which can be tow away to park in area that are allowed.

Anyhow I think they’ll just be fine to stay at home even when there are a few conflicts over the afternoon.
