Since dad was away (balik kampung), I had to pick up Cal from school and send him home. The he wanted so much to go to my in-laws’ place. Unfortunately both of them will be out in the afternoon. He was so sad to know that and said “Mommy, can you send Mer back home after school?” Indicating that he wanted someone to play with him at home, or he wanted to go somewhere instead of just stays home with my mom who normally don’t do things with him.
Earlier on, I overheard him telling the younger brother this: “You come home after school la.. then we can make whatever “Einsteins” (a TV character in TVIQ) made, if we can make it, then we’ll make it together, ok?”
Cal has been complaining that he wanted the little brother to go home and stay with him after school. He wanted to join him in another words. I feel pity for him.
In order for him to settle down and don’t feel bored at home, I’ve let him play with my scrapbook stuff such as shape punches, stamp, brads, flower and what have you. Today I even let him use my Fiskars’ border punch, one that I normally don’t let him touch.
Am really looking forward to weekend now, so that both of them can play together and we can go “jalan-jalan”.
