Nope, my site is still not totally okay yet, as I’m still with my previous server. Anytime now I may be switched over to the new server by my hostess. Finger crossed that I’ve done enough and with the right backup to get my site up and running again with all my posts.
On the other hand, nope, my house is still not done yet. It is still under renovation. The workers are doing the plaster ceiling and tiles at the moment. Tiles for bathrooms are almost done. Next is the kitchen wall tiles and the last will be the floor tiles. I hope there won’t be any shortage again as we bought almost all of our tiles during sales / promotion period and the promotion is over by now. So any shortage will be charged with non-promotional price which could be 100% more than the price that we got. *sigh*
I don’t know exactly when I’ll be moving in. This is one question that me and hubby cannot answer. Another thing is if I will be able to stay there with my two boys and nobody else. Probably getting a maid is a must thing to do. However I prefer to do things myself, I don’t like to have a stranger in the house with me. Well, fortunately as for moving wise, I don’t need to worry too much as I’m really staying very close to my new house. I don’t need any long distance moving company to help me I suppose. I think dad’s pickup would do the work.
As for health wise, I’m not really in my tip top condition these few days. Have been having some cough and flu. Now I’m getting stiff neck some more! With the haze and H1N1around, I’m afraid I’m just like anyone else who can’t really enjoy their time right now. I wish it could be better. But I do feel good today for having to send over an “Orange Delight” cake from Secret Recipe over to Calvin’s school and let those kids enjoy the happiness from a birthday cake. Yes, it is Calvin’s birthday today. His 6th birthday.
Hubby email today: “6 years ago after passing mid-night, I received an sms from you saying we have a healthy baby boy. Now, he is a 6 year-old big boy. That’s our son Calvin.
Very soon, he will enter primary school and start to load with books in his school bag. Well, we have to make sure he has a wonderful and joyful 6 years in his primary school without much study pressure given to him.
Instead we should give more courage and guide to him so that he pick up study as a fun and joy process. Nurture an environment that he will take initiative to do his homework and study instead of us chasing behind him. Praise more instead of punish.”
Well, dear.. yes I hope I can praise him more rather than punishing him. But the thing is “wait till you are back and be with them, then you’ll know how hard that could be.” *LOL*

Well, we are still following those old ways of teaching our kids by our parents. That’s using physical punishment when they have done something wrong. I guess that’s the challenging part to raise our kids and we always hope we get the best for them.
