I had a wedding dinner to attend last night, so the boys didn’t see me till late at night. Surprisingly they both waited for me till almost 11pm, exhausted and yet wide awake waiting for mommy’s hugs.
It was a nice getaway from both of them at night and enjoyed a time of gathering with classmates during the dinner. Most of us haven’t changed a bit and I’m proud to say that all of us are still in recognisable state *LOL*. There were one classmate though, that I didn’t recognise her on first glance, ‘cos she has lost so much weight, from the chubby girl that I’ve known to a really slim and stylish lady. After much conversation, I found out that it is all due to the busy life that she is leading with 3 young children ages range from 5 till 9 years old.
There were one stage in my life that I’ve lost so much weight due to lack of sleep taking care of little Mervin. Friends and family were asking how did I loose those prenatal fat. That’s why my two boys has been branded as my slimming pills, two a day *LOL*.

I didn’t care much about how the food taste like but rather more concern on table topic during the dinner. I was trying to catch up with everyone’s where about, how they are doing and basically just to have a great time with classmates for the good old days.
I leave at just before 10pm ‘cos I’ve promised Calvin that I’ll fetch him at 10 from my in-laws’ place. First thing that Calvin told me when we were on the car after getting him from my in-laws’ house was: “I want to go to the outer space, to the hole and get an alien back here.” I wonder where did he get that idea from and he said with with a serious face. So during the whole trip with him in the car, I did some explanation about outer space and science to him with my limited resources.
Calvin is one curious kiddo with lots of questions and I do enjoy explaining things to him especially when he looks like he has understand all *LOL*. Little Mer normally don’t ask ask or talk like Cal. However, he is still one talkative boy to me.
Bed time was easy last night as both of them were really exhausted so I get to enjoy more time talking to hubby on the phone after that.
