Went to 1Borneo for our branch and toy shopping in the morning. I won’t have the opportunity to visit 1Borneo during weekday if it is not because I was on-leave, it was a public holiday or because I was going to work in the night shift. I won’t be going for toy hunting there too if it is not because there is a birthday party that we will be going tomorrow.

I went there with enthusiasm having making a deal with my boys, telling them more than once that they are not suppose to request in buying this and that on what they see later. Am also telling myself Toy’R'Us should have what I am looking for. But actually I haven’t got a clue on what to buy other than the scooter that I wanted earlier on andlater found out that the birthday boy already have one at home.

After arriving there at almost 10:30 am, got a parking easily near the entrance. We straight went to grab something to eat. All I can think of is to bring the boys to McD which is nearby Toy’R'Us. First thing I rediscovered is that their wash basin is too high for my 2nd son, Mer to reach, so I have to carry him and at the same time on the tap for him. I’ve already started complaining on how inconvenience it is to have such a high sink that is not child-friendly.

When we almost done, Mer wanted to go to toilet desperately, so off we went. THEN.. I discovered another inconvenience – dump sinky design! There is another lower sink which I suppose is for children, but what height do they expect the child can start washing their hands? 1.2m? Mer is a short guy and he is not 1.1m yet, still I think he got the right to use children sink, right? But this dump design doesn’t even allow him to reach till the tap! What’s all the point of having a lower sink and yet small children cannot reach?

I saw this sink design in KFC too! Are they trying to save cost? Then might as well make all sinks in the same height, rather than giving small children hope.
