We were busy looking around for doors, tiles and glass windows for the house on Friday. We went from Lintas “Modern Tiles”, till Menggatal glass shop, till a hard wood factory which almost reaching Tuaran. At least now I know where I should go to get the all those necessary things with a good price.
Later was budgeting time again, just to know how much we need to have in hand before embarking on buying those materials. Just to be safe, floor tiles are the last in the list. First priority is to get those toilets and piping done. We have been trying to figure out how we can save on wall tiles by maintaining part of the initial wall tiles in the toilets. At the same time, we need to think of what we like including the color scheme for wall tiles, toilet bowls and the sinks in the most workable budget possible.
When hubby told me about the piping, I haven’t got a clue how it works. All I think about is hoping how good and how functional it will be. Thus lastly we got his brother to help us, which of course including being the site supervisor or project manager for us. I’m so glad that now at least I’ve someone that we both trust to being there on site instead of solely depending on the contractor whom having other projects going on at the same times with ours.
Above all these hassle, I’ve managed to pamper myself with a novel to read maybe hoping to release the tension of all the worries and I finally got myself a pair of working shoes from Hush Puppies. I am very particular about working shoes especially if it is in leather material. I would normally go for the trusted brand. However there isn’t many brands that can fit my feet and last long in the town. I would love to have these Soft Kensington if it is available in town.I would love to have more women’s shoes in my shoes collections.
As for the next two weeks while the boys enjoying their school holidays, I’m hoping to get more things done for the house. Although there is no plan on when we will move in, but I would love to see the end result sooner and get this out of my head. I’ve actually been enjoying the company of hubby and sadly he’ll be leaving tomorrow on an early plan *sigh*, I’m back to my singlehood again. Of course I would prefer to have him around to solve all the renovation problems.
