The rat and Mer

Little Mer almost slept with my sister for a night last night. At first he was being asked by my sister on “who is nicer”. After some thought, he answer “Yi Yi” = aunt. So I told him he can sleep with yi-yi if he wants. He was so happy to hear that and had got ready his blanket and his favorite shirt with him to my sis’ room. I was happy too as I don’t need to chase him to bed last night. I’m hoping he won’t be looking for mommy too as this will ease my process to go for outstation later.

So he did, he went to bed after reading time with me and Cal. But Cal seems to be missing his little brother with him in the room. I bet ‘cos there is no one that he can poke at.

Then I went on the night with some scrapbook things in the scrap room after they were in their dreamland. Then went to bed after that. But maybe half an hour later, my sister told me that Mer was looking for me and he wanted to come back to my room. Oh well, I was expecting this to happen anyway.

Earlier on the night, my sis was shouting like seeing ghost! There was a huge rat walking pass in between the rooms while they were watching the news at 8pm. No big deal for me as those rats at home seems to be active as ever. I wanted to poison them all or trap them all, but still there are some that seems immune with the mouse trap and poison. Those big and nasty rats!

Ever heard of spider traps? I’ve always been familiar with mouse trap or poison for rat but this is the first time I heard about a spider trap. I wouldn’t have thought of trapping a spider either as we normally won’t see huge spider at home, but rat, yes! They have been really active even when the lights are still on!

I wish we have a cat, one that would really scare away the rat. Then my scrap room won’t be so smelly with the rat pee or being worried that they will bite my layouts *sigh*.
