Early on Day 6 of Chinese New Year, 4 of us went to the cemetery and gave our respect to our grandpa, grandma and big brother. First one to leave us was my brother due to cancer, then Grandma due to illness, then my Grandpa who past away at the age of 99.
We went there during Chinese New Year ‘cos this is the time that my sister came back from Hong Kong and time that we are free to go. We still have lots of fond memories on them, still joking about how they would be in heaven now.
As for the night our usual gathering in in-laws has change venue to Si Hai Ting in Asia City Complex with Peking duck *grin*. The boys love the sauce *LOL* and I love the prawn with salted fish. They have a beautiful name for it, something lotus.

It was a brief dinner actually since MIL was at home waiting for her tapao.
I thought of my niece for this Chinese New Year. I hope my niece over in Adelaide is also enjoying visits to friend’s home with good food. Being a student is not easy, what more in the service industry of nursing. Probably some of her friend will be heading off to different medical assistant training school pretty soon or right after graduation, but surely she’ll still make friends easily with her bubbly personality and hopefully she’ll enjoy what she do in the future.
