First thing on the first day of the new year, Ang Pow!!
Lots of Ang Pow time for the kids this year and more importantly they learn how to Gong Xi Gong Xi the adults before they give out the Ang Pow. What we did was to sit down and asked them to line up for the Ang Pow *LOL*
Since most of the kids are older this year and they are mostly in that age that they love to run and play in groups, they basically have a good time together though there are some hiccup time too.
As for little Mer, this year he has the chance to meet the Lion face to face and being the one who gave out the Ang Pow to them. He is both excited and afraid. This happened on the morncng of the 2nd day .
On the 2nd day of Chinese New Year we visited our uncle in Papar which has some durian trees, so we got a treat of durian after lunch. Basically full from eating durian. Just look at the size.
This was what happen during the opening ceremony.
As for today, all of us, 3 pairs of couples got a chance to excape from our kids and went off to settle our things in town, and I got the chance to watch a movie over lunch hour!
