And he accidentally caused the death of two! Poor thing!
That’s what happened on Saturday evening and yesterday. Little Cal has discovered this temporary pond made by our car tyre, it was full of tadpole! They must have turned to tiny toads and he found them too!
He was just so curious about them, he tried to touch them, scare them but he was so kind he wanted to add some more water in the pond and also shoved off some dirt to make a bigger space for them. He even wanted to show his Kung-Kung about them, so he brought one over to my in-laws’ house on Saturday evening. That poor toads must have been dyhydrated and die after that.
Little Cal didn’t realise he caused the death of the toad and he still goes back to that pond and examined them. But I’ve warned him not to touched them again after another one die. He must have felt terrible and kept on denying that he is the caused of it. He told me he only touched them like butterfly kisses.
The good thing living in rural area huh!? That much he has the chance to learn about small creatures like tadpole, that much of experience that he even played with them. I’m glad that we are not living in a big city that he doesn’t have the chance for all these fun stuff.
